Wideband Singly Fed Compact Circularly Polarized Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna for X-Band Wireless Applications

This work focuses on a compact circularly polarized wideband rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (RDRA) for X-band wireless applications. The response of the RDRA is initially generated by coaxial probe, RDR, an air gap in DR and slot shape ground. circular polarization achieved via incorporation unique feeding mechanism. edge with probe generates orthogonal modes that make design circularly. axial ratio performance improved adding copper strip top DR. To validate simulated results, prototype fabricated measured results are noted. For −10 dB reference value, has 59.74% impedance bandwidth (8.45–14.09 GHz). 3 value ratio, 9.24% Circular Polarization (CP) (10.084–11.084 6.5 dBic peak gain 95.5% efficiency. Results show close agreement results.
